
Our callers are real, live people who want to develop a relationship with you. Many are former caregivers who have experience with the senior population and it’s unique needs.
Are assurance calls right for me or my loved one?
Our services are best for individuals who live independently and are able to pick up the phone. We can help with appointment reminders, companionship calls, or simple check-ins on a regular basis. Learn more about assurance calls and our services here.
Who will be calling?
Developing relationships is our number one goal. In order to do that, we do our best to keep the person reaching out to you consistent. When that is not possible, you can rest assured that whoever is calling will have all the information they need to make you feel looked after and cared for. All of our callers have experience working with seniors and many are former caregivers. Learn more about us here.
How long do the calls last? What will the caller discuss?
Our calls last between 1 and 5 minutes. In addition to reminders, the conversations will go wherever the client & caller want to go. Tell us about yourself, your hobbies and how you are keeping busy. Learn more about the types of assurance calls here.
What happens if I or my loved one doesn’t pick up the phone?
We will make multiple attempts to reach our clients. If after 3 calls, no one picks up, we will contact the person you designated when signing up.
What is the start-up process?
We will start to provide service once California Daily living has received a signed Service Agreement laying out the terms, types of call, and schedule. In addition, we require a 2-week refundable deposit. If our service is no longer required, that deposit will be credited to the final invoice. Any remaining funds will be returned to the client. What are your hours?
We provide service 7 days a week from 6:00 AM-8:00 AM PST. Our office hours are 9:00 AM- 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. We will respond to emails and calls within 24 hours. You can contact us at customerservice@californiadailyliving.com or (707) 728-9742
